About us
OUR CHURCH:
New Covenant is a United Methodist Church (UMC). We thrilled to be a part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We believe we can do more together, so we fully participate in sending funds to the UMC to be used in sending missionaries and compassionate relief around the world.
We are an inclusive church. We welcome all who desire to have a relationship with the Lord no matter their sexual orientation, age, or race.
Locally we participate as individuals in various ministries in town, from working with the homeless to visiting the sick. As a church, we maintain a blessing box in front of the building where we provide food, clothing, toiletries, and misc household items to those in need.

Tinker Boyd
Lead Pastor
Tinker Boyd came to New Covenant UMC in July of 2018. She has been married since 1991 to her husband John. They have two grown children, Daniel and Brianne. Tinker's background was in zookeeping before she submitted to God's calling on her life. She still loves animals, as well as hiking, camping, and reading.
Her philosophy on ministry is “Connecting to People.” She believes God wants a connection with all of us and she wants to help people make that connection so they can be healed of their brokenness. Many ministries in the church help with this, but four that she emphasizes are prayer, Biblical preaching with real life applications, small group ministry, and visitation.
